One Chef Obsessed

I will be leaving saturday night to go to the International Chefs Congress.  It’s a three day long conference with some of the best chefs in the world.  Most people had to buy tickets, but i got my passes free(because I’m cool like that).  We are staying in Flushing, Queens with a friend of Sarah’s family.  I plan on going to the conference, meeting some people, learning, and also taking many pictures of my favorite chefs.  I would love to be able to go to Kabab Cafe in Astoria, Queens.  It’s a little Egyptian restaurant that specializes in Offal.  I can’t wait, bring on the brains and kidneys.  On another note, it seems as though the Gallery dinners will not be happening.  What a bummer because i was really looking forward to making some really kick ass food for some serious foodies.  If I have time when I’m in NY, I am gonna try to get down to 8507 Queens Boulevard and snap a pic of the Wendy’s where they shot Coming to America.  ”Take us to Queens!”
