Posted in Chef, Garden with tags Micro Farm on June 30, 2009 by wilburcoxjrHere are a few pictures of the Micro Farm Experiment. I am happy to say that it is a smashing success. I have never seen a Watermelon Radish as big as a baseball before, but that is what I pulled out of the ground the other day. Poblano, Sweet Green and Portuguese Hot Peppers. Kohlrabi, Turnips, Beets, Cocozelle and Kabocha Squash. My tomatoes are out of control. Two of the plants are over five feet tall and I am posting pictures of the developing Purple Cherokees. I can’t wait to bite into one once they get ripe. I am also amazed that my chic peas are growing very well. It is an amazing plant. They are short in stature, and offer little pods of two beans each. Very exciting to watch them develop as well. All I need now is a little more space for my pigs, or a few ducks. Here are some pictures. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for reading.
